See! My chair really did break from me standing up to receive the results and then throwing myself back in shock.
After Monday night’s show of Dancing with the Stars I was left utterly confused about the viewers likes and dislikes. A few weeks back (or last week?) I mentioned to my niece that based on “popularity” votes and judges scores Erika Girardi and Gleb Savchenko would be leaving the competition- I was right.
But last night was different as Maks returned and he got Heather he perfect 10, they had an amazing dance but the viewers were not behind them. I have heard a lot about viewers not finding it “fair” that Heather has dancing experience yet if you’ve been watching the show you can see she has also struggled in the competition. I could’ve been a professional IT technician 10 years ago but it doesn’t mean that after being out for that long I will still have the same skill set as things change. At the end of the day Dancing with the Stars is a competition and the show must go on, but not after a lot of booing from the audience. Even Tom Bergerson said, “In 24 seasons that is probably the most vocally unhappy reaction we’ve gotten about a result.”
Before the most shocking moment, the show was filled with sex appeal, hot dances, hot DANCERS, and of course celebrity judge Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. Would it me wrong for me to say I was #TeamNSYNC?
Excellent show with a disappointing ending. But the show must go on. I am happy to say #TeamBabyGotBach is still going strong. Also, happy to see #TeamBladesofGlory and #TeamDenimNDiamonds.
Said no one ever! At least not according to all the reviews I have read where they are ranting and raving about this film. I almostwant to get super hype for it but at the end I don’t want to be disappointed. I’m a movie buff and a super geek for these films so something like that could kill me. I guess I will have to wait until Thursday to decide for myself. Expect a full review on Friday.
This past weekend I had a mole removed and taken for a biopsy which is pretty standard. When I told a friend of mine they were freaking out asking if I was nervous about the results. Honestly I’m not the type of person to freak out over medical test results, I’m a true believer that life will not give you more than you can handle. Yes I said life not God; I just want to meet in the middle since maybe you and I don’t have the same beliefs. All I know is my annoying mole is gone. Am I worried it’s going to be some deadly result? No. Also! I’m going to Vegas for the 3rd time as an adult! Woohoo! (Vicki Gunvalson style- RHOC) Let’s see how it goes as I make my way there next week looking for trouble.
Ok so I’ll be back sometime this week, don’t miss me. I’ll miss you. Jk!
I feel like it’s barely Wednesday and so much sh*t has happened. So much to digest without using too many words.
I woke up wide awake this morning at 3am and could not go back to sleep so I decided to browse my social media. Before I could even open any apps a notification this came up Aaron Hernandez, Former New England Patriots Star, Found Dead in Prison Cell: Official; my first thought was WTF. So of course I started browsing around reading different articles and apparently Aaron Hernandez committed suicide. To be honest as I was reading the article my mind immediately went to him being killed, don’t know how, by who, but it is a huge possibility it was an inside job. We all know the system has it’s loopholes and when someone wants something done they will get it done. The truth may never come out, as of now this man committed suicide and that’s the story because that’s how it looked by him having the sheet or what ever tied to his neck.
At the end of the day Aaron Hernandez is a FATHER, son, brother, etc, and despite what he did I do feel for his family because they will forever carry the cross and pain for him.
Another shocker for me was the La La and Carmelo Anthony split. Though I am saddened for their child; I can’t say I’m shocked. La La Anthony (soon Vazquez) is a 37 year old mother, entrepreneur, actress, and she did the wife thing very well from what we could see. Carmelo Anthony is 32, a player who has not won any championship rings, a good father, and a man who tried to play husband as best as he could. If you go back to their dating years he did not want to commit and I think that part of him moving towards marriage was more of an expectation, something he might of genuinely wanted but never was really ready for. They lasted a long time but it was time for their to face their realities and split. Now cheating is just disgusting and if he fathered a child I’m sure he will be a man about it and be a present force like with his young son. La La is a beautiful talented woman who will continue her path and eventually find a partner who will fulfill her needs in a partner.
I won’t lie, I had a ticket to Coachella ready to go but I had second thoughts on the whole expense plus other things. I’m already going to some sick ass concerts and I can’t even name half the people performing at Coachella. To be honest I really just wanted to go see Lady Gaga and just to go so not really a good reason. My not going did make a friend really happy when I sold her my pass to the very sold out event. I could’ve been your typical reseller and put it up on Craigslist for double what I paid but I’m not about that life. My instagram and snapchat feeds are Coachella all day erryday. Even Nikki *Mufikkin* Blackketter is there. (google her)
I still don’t regret it.
So far this weekend I’ve taken care of some designs I had to finish and also edited some photos for a shoot I did. I did a couple other things but nothing super ridiculously exciting. It’s Easter weekend though and he has RISEN. I will drop some knowledge on another post going over my views on religion and all that BUT it will not be on this post so stay tuned… if you want.
Have a good Easter & Coachella weekend.
P.S – i’m craving an horchata iced latter from Tierra Mia Coffee I may or may not make the hour drive for. My fave location is Long Beach, plus it’s the closest.
Yes, it’s true – I lost it to “The Fate of the Furious.” Let’s rewind to earlier at 10:10 pm when I decided I was gonna woMAN up and go to the movies BY MYSELF like I’ve seen many people multiple times. I said to myself wth, I want to watch this movie before it comes out officially on April 14th and I’m gonna go on my own. I immediately after I talked myself into it, I logged into my Atom app and decided to get me one(1) ticket to the 10:10 pm showing of “The Fate of the Furious.” I will say I was tempted to cancel but said F*k it and drove my ass to the movie theater.
Once I got there I felt pretty chill, got me a pretzel with cheese (guilty pleasure), and a Mr. Pibb. I finally made it inside the theater and chose the furthest seat in the back which I always do anyway. There were 9 other people in the theater excitedly waiting for this badass movie to begin after the 80 movie trailers. Here is the sad part – as I was being responsible and putting my phone on silent I accidentally knocked down the cheese. 😦 At that moment I knew that I was going to eat a dry pretzel with no cheese; very sad. BTW, Regal Theater – I apologize for dropping cheese all over the floor after a very kind employee had JUST finished prepping the theater for us. Honestly, I tried to clean it as much as possible but it fell through the crack of the seat next to me. Sorry!
Now to the good part. The movie was at first odd and I will explain why without giving any spoilers. There is a moment in the beginning where you’re like hmm… what could it be. Then your mind immediately goes to many conclusions but in the end it was DEFINITELY not what anyone or myself could’ve possibly thought it would be. It has so many mind f*cking action scenes that it’s ridiculously awesome. Several times I felt my body shifting like if I was the one doing these crazy stunts. Oh, you wanna know about the cars huh? They had so many of my f*cking dream cars that I got goosebumps. We’re talking Corvette, 70’s Charger, newer model Charger, Jaguar, Nissan GTR, Subaru BRZ and so many more that I can’t even mention. Straight out this movie is a f*cking 10 – I don’t care what ANYONE says, it’s what I expected and more.
Will I go back to the movies alone? Maybe. Do I recommend “The Fate of the Furious” – F*CK YES!
